5Absolute Boyfriend vol.2Mar 27, 2010
This volume goes more into Riiko, Soshi, and Night relationship its like a rollercoaster but always makes you want to know whats coming next.

5LOVE IT SOOOO MUCH!!!!!! SOOOOO MUCH!!!!Sep 30, 2009
This is the first manga I have ever read and I thought it was amazing.
Some people (mostly parents may think it is too graphic but I have to disagree.
I'm only 14, but I know this is not porno.
It doesn't show all of the stuff, if ya know what I mean.
I found this manga really funny and entertaining. And lots of romance of course.
I LOVE IT SOOOO MUCH!!!!!!
Read the whole series. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. But maybe at the end you will. =(
You gotta read it to find out.

1PARENTS please BEWARE of the graphics, forget the story line!!!!May 04, 2009
This is a review for parents, if there are anymore of you out there that care what your children read. Sometimes I feel like I am the last of the `Mohicans'! I am not a control freak, just a caring parent that does not want my children to be exposed to mature material, at too young of an age, at whatever age bracket they are in. So, now on to the reason for my first, online, public review of a book: I have had enough; I can no longer keep my mouth shut about these books... Manga, Teen Graphic Novels, TGN's, Anima, whatever you want to call them. I regret the day my daughter picked one up, which was about a year ago, maybe it has been two now, I don't remember, it seems like ages ago. Because I review the books (for appropriate content) that come into our home, I have seen a many of these books and it has been a constant battle ever since. As all Manga lovers will contest, they are ferocious about their Manga and you cannot call them comic books, or they will have a cow. I am not here to dispute that argument but rather give you my opinion of what is really going on. When I open a Manga, I don't even bother reading the words, there might be none to 20 words per page, depending on which series. In my mind, these books are all about the graphics, and this book "Absolute Boyfriend, Shojo Beat", the graphics depicted belong at the corner smut stand. They are provocative, suggestive, filthy and nearing pornography. The authors are sucking our kids in; giving enough story line with a lot of inappropriate graphics to keep them coming back for more.

5Killer ending to volume twoOct 30, 2008
This sequel book to the incredible volume one of Yuu Watase's 'Absolute Boyfriend' is a complete page turner and has an absolutely killer ending! Another brilliant piece from the author of the bestselling 'Gakuen Alice'. Her art is as soft and beautiful as ever and her story heart warming. Just don't read it unless you have volume three ready to hand, because by the time you reach the last page you'll be screaming for more!

5A Million Dollar Find!May 11, 2008
and, at only 6 volumes, perfect for the person who wants quality manga at an affordable price!
'absolute boyfriend' tells the tale of riiko. a girl who is luckless when it comes to guys, until (through a string of odd occurances) she finds herself alone in her house with a packaged 'man'.
throughout the following volumes we see how riiko struggles with both trying to maintain the secret of her new boyfriend, and balancing her feelings for her best friend.
it's a story that will leave you laughing and crying by turns, while the art leaves you breathless.
it's one manga story that is defiantly recommended to all! =D
