Reads R to L (Japanese Style) M audience.

In Tsutomu Nihei's nightmare vision of the future, the N5S virus has swept across the earth, turning most of the population into zombie-like drones. Zoichi Kanoe, an agent of Toa Heavy Industry, is humanity's last hope, and he's not even human! With the help of Fuyu, a digitized intelligence built into the computer system of his Heavy Dual Coil motorcycle, Zoichi's search for the key to salvation will take him on a journey across surreal landscapes and hurl him into battle against mind-bending evil. Prepare yourself for the ultimate trip--prepare yourself for the world of BIOMEGA.

Final Volume! Niarudi and the DRF rule the strange cordlike world of the Restorative. Yet without Eon Green, Niarudi will never be able to remake the world as she wishes. Now the biomechanical inhabitants of the Restorative are beginning to succumb to dronification, a result of the N5S plague that wiped out the original Earth. Only Zoichi and Fuyu can stop the nightmare from repeating itself, but to do so they'll need to find Eon Green and the incredible secret she holds about the past that will shape the future. The final confrontation is at hand, and the prize for victory is the power to transform humanity and the world itself!

5A must for any fan of adult, dark mangaAug 09, 2011
By K. Heim "Klaus M. Heim"
Not for the young or faint of heart, but certainly for adults who crave alternative literature to consume. 100% A+ excellent manga if you like deep, dark, violent, and mysterious....and of course the plot/story is way cool. If you enjoy adult manga, this is about as good as it gets.

3Final Volume, Vague but IntriguingOct 25, 2011
By activeAnime
Earth is gone. Zoichi and the others are billions of miles away on an artificial world attached by a column stretching all the way back to what was once Zoichi's home. Zoichi and others are racing to find Niarudi's true body in order to stop her psychotic plan, but time is running out for everyone.

The final volume of the manga series is a sequence of pivotal events leading to the conclusion of the saga. Koslov appears again and has a critical part to play in these last chapters. Eon Green as well is seen. Fuyu, Zoichi and Funipero face Niarudi in a mad dash to stop her and save what life is left. In an artificial world where the virus is spreading anew, hope seems fleeting and all may be lost.

The finale was intriguing but visually and story-wise a bit unclear and occasionally it was hard to follow exactly what was going on as some scenes were too vague and the point not always prevalent. The manga does come to an end, however the very final moments were confusing.

IN SUMMARY:
It is the final volume of the dystopia science fiction and nothing will ever be the same again for Zoichi.

5DeepJun 17, 2011

Are people simply unaware of Tsutomu Nihei, or is it really not for everyone? Maybe because the plot isn't "drama, kittens, swords, montage, repeat", people become scared.
