Kaitou Kid (first appearing in Gosho Aoyama's manga series, "Magic Kaito", not currently available in English), provides in volume sixteen, all the tricks that make him one of the world's best criminal masterminds. From his skill in disguise, to his devilish riddles, even his famous escape on a white hang glider, he lives up to his reputation.
When Conan and Kid first meet, it's a clash of wits to make any fan of them proud, setting up later meetings of pure enjoyment. With interesting twists, wicked deception and laughable taunting, this volume is one of THE volumes for Conan and Kid fans.

Wow. This was the first volume of Case Closed I actually had to force myself to finish. I'm definitely soured on the series at this point; I have the next one out of the library, and if it doesn't really take off, I'm done with Case Closed. **
