Really Great!May 11, 2012
By Lindo Korchi I saw some Dragonball manga pages online and to be honest I thought the artwork was Butt Ugly! However, when I got this one it is clean, smooth and Beautiful! One major difference I saw in Akira Toriyama's manga and Manga that is distributed now such as Naruto, Bleach & One Piece is that Akira doesn't make his artwork that "Dark", meaning he doesn't darken all of his scenes with Black ink. So far I haven't even seen a single page of screen tone! Its so clean and its nice to see that you can have a beautiful manga without adding so much ink and screentone everywhere. Sometimes I see manga where the whole entire page is screen tone and jetted with black ink and I don't really like it at all. I've seen Akira's Dragonball animation, Amazing! His storyboard, Amazing! I haven't seen his artwork from the manga until now and Akira 'Legend' Toriyama has done it again and did a maserpiece!
However, I am a little confused. Since this is part of the VIZ edition, I wanted to know are the pages as clean and beautiful in the original Dragon ball Z manga vol 1 - 26 or did viz just fix it up? I would normally not ask this since it would seem so dead obvious as in - Yes! However, I ask this because as I mentioned before I saw some manga pages online and they were horrendous!

By ck I bought this book for my little brother, and he said it was the best one in the series since it is the last book. There is a lot of pages with color in this book compared to the other ones. Of corse the quality of the nook is good!

By UltraCell This is the final edition in the VizBig titles for the Dragonball manga. This is a must have for any DBZ fans who want to complete their manga collection at an affordable price. Unfortunately though the copy I received from Amazon was faulty and had pages 161-192 replaced with the previous pages of 130-161 thus getting these pages twice and then after getting to page 161 again it then continues on with page 193 thus missing pages 161-192. This is just a warning for anyone who's buying these right now because I don't know if it's just my copy or if they had a bad run of stock.
Cheers
DBZ Goes Out With A BANG!Oct 09, 2011
By Mirela Holdon A great must-have volume to end the series. This great VizBig recreation features the final 2 explosive volumes of Dragonball Z.Don't miss this volume in which Gotenks faces off with Boo and Goku and Vegeta then too get their turn resulting in 2 epic battles. This is a must for any fan of Dragonball Z small or big.People will enjoy this awesome book.I think you should get this book. The only downside of this book is that the book only contains 2 volumes, however 25 an 26 are the biggest volumes in Dragonball Z. This book is great action book.Anyone who likes manga owes this to themselves.
great for any dbz fanMar 10, 2011

"that guy over there"
This is the exciting closer to the whole dragonball series, so naturally the story by Toriyama is wonderful. As for the vizbig editions themselves they're a great deal compared to the original graphic novel releases: from two to four volumes versus one at one price. If you're a fan of the show wanting to read the books, the translation can seem awkward in a few places compared to what anime fans are used to hearing. All in all, it's a great buy if you're interested in DBZ.
