Season 2 of the amazing seriesOct 07, 2005
By A. S. ALHASSAN Directly from VIZ: "Episodes 28 - 54 on 5 DVD discs. SPECIAL FEATURES: Bilingual Japanese & English, with optional English subtitles, Scene access menu and Line-art gallery."
This means that it is Engl.
The difference between this one and the Delux Edition is (directly from VIZ): "This special deluxe edition features a set of imported Hanko signature blocks, each featuring either the name of Inuyasha, Sesshomaru, Kagome or the original Japanese Inuyasha logo."

You Already KnowJan 30, 2006

"Sonic Jones... I'm Kind Of A Big Deal Around Here"
If you're a true Inuyasha fan and a smart buyer then you know this is the Box Set to get. You can't wait any longer this is the entire second season for just 75$, think about how much money you save by buying this and not all those individual DVD's that just clean out your pockets. If you're looking at this review and have never seen the series then your looking for the first Set not this one,.
So anyone buying this already knows the 5 amazing characters and the amazing story and plot and how much this Box Set is truly worth. This isn't overrated this is one of the greatest anime series of all time and I said one of the greatest not the greatest. If you really want to know how great of a deal this is then calculate what it would cost if you purchased every DVD volume of the second season.

Best of the BestMar 29, 2006
By Dr. Michael A. Rinella I think if you were going to buy one large collection to introduce someone to anime, this may well be the one to choose. Now that it is available in a collected (and reasonably priced) form, the second season is a great buy.
There is hardly a mediocre episode in the lot, let alone a bad one. Highpoint follows highpoint, from the showdown at Naraku's castle, combat with the Wind Sorceress Kargura, Wolf-Demon Koga, the mind-reading Goshinki, the bizarre Juromaru and Kageromaru, and the mighty Ryukotsusei. The feud with Sesshomaru continues, and we see that Inu-Yasha's full demon brother is possibly not completely evil. Sango endures a lot of pain both emotional and physical but fights on, and Kagome begins to adapt to the dangers of the world she has discovered. She's much less helpless than in season one. And Kikyo is even more enigmatic than in the first season, thoroughly complex, with a perspective that is neither human or demon.
The 2nd season is in my opinion the best of one of the best anime programs ever made.

finally the episode list uncoveredSep 15, 2006
By Daniel E. Munn I totally am hooked on the series, so I had to take a chance tp find out what the second season's episode list was because for some reason there are two box sets that claim to be season two.
Now the box set that has Kagome, Inuyasha, and Naraku on the cover is the real box set, because it starts at episode 28: Miroku Falls Into a Dangerous Trap. The first season box set of course ends on episode 27. I hope this review has stopped some of the confusion ^.^ Go Inuyasha!!

Just gets betterFeb 24, 2006
By Wizzer249 Inuyasha was the first anime series to spark my interest in the genre and I am happy to say it is still my favorite, The animation, music and voice acting are absolutely superb. (watch it in Japanese with english subtitles for the best experience).
This series builds on the relationships created in the first series and really feels like it is building up to a very complex resolution. Some of the episodes can be viewed as stand alone and others continue the main thread of destroying the demon Naraku.
The humour is great and the relationship between Inuyasha and the rest of his travelling companions continues to develop well with some of the shows being downright tearjerkers.
I enjoyed every moment of this DVD presentation.
I can't recommend this series more highly.
