Perfect for indoor funJan 16, 2009
By Midwest Book Review Let's Find Pokemon! is a colorful look-and-find children's picturebook that encourages young readers to hunt for pictures of specific Pokemon among vast and diverse crowds. An "answers" page and a special "Pokemon 1, 2, 3!" story that promotes thinking skills as young readers follow a story in stages enhance this enjoyable activity book. A great gift for any child who loves the Pokemon games or cartoon, perfect for indoor fun.

By Natrix My son spends hours looking at the front and back of this book choosing his favorite Pokemon. This book was well worth the money spent on it.

"Busy Mom"
This is actually a pretty cool book that combines Pokemon with the the joy of locating tiny figures in a complex and crowded background. What makes this book different from others in it's genre is that author asks riddles which need to be solved. That, and there's some sort of story at the end which the kids and I just couldn't make heads or tales of. (We're not Pokemon fanatics, so maybe it'll make sense to those who are.)
Talking points :::
The instructions on 'how to have fun with this book' are:
1) Read the problems carefully and find the hidden Pokemon!
2) The answers are on page 24!
3) Also check out "Pokemon, 1,2,3,!" on page 25 and "Story Problems" on Page 25!
$) Try doing the puzzles with your friends and family!
I like that they suggest doing these activities with others. Besides that there were some elements -- besides the hunting for characters-- that we didn't grasp. Still, overall it was fun. **3.5 Stars**
Includes a Pokedex with 386 characters displayed and named (in minature).
