Great story--slow paceAug 24, 2009
By manga girl 101 In this volume, Hanayu is still coming to grips with her crush on Hayato. While apprenticing at his father's sushi shop, she asks him why he aspires to be a pastry chef, and after making a big deal of it and forcing her to face a challenge, he gives her a very simple, and somewhat ridiculous answer. Then Saki, another apprentice at the shop, reveals to Hanayu and Hayato his complicated past with their homeroom teacher, Miss Matsuzaka. Determined to help Saki clear things up with Miss Matsuzaka, the mismatched duo ends up going to great lengths to help them out, and eventually they work out their differences. Then Hanayu learns that Hayato is planning to take over the sushi shop, even though his parents aren't forcing him to...
I am finding that this series moves a little slowly for me, spending too much time on little side stories. I am hoping it will speed up for volumes 5 and 6 because the story is really worth it (if you can stick with it!).
