ExcellenceMar 09, 2010 Besides a dot that messed up the play of one of the episodes on a disk this was an excellent set to own! it more than made up for this with the good condition of the box and cases. overall good...

Emotionally intense and depressing romance seriesFeb 25, 2010 I am surprised to see the quality of work put into this anime. What started out as a semi-enjoyable, yet annoying, romance, has become one of the most realistic anime I have ever seen. This DVD set features new twists and turns as Nana/Hachi, Takumi, and Nobu enter a complicated love triangle. Nana O. begins to show weakness as the world around here is becoming too stressful and emotionally taxing. When both Nanas meet again after a short while apart things take a turn for the worst and their friendship is put to the test. Being male I found myself surprised how well I could relate to the 2 female leads of this series.
The level of quality in the English dubbing, art, animation, and music also increase which leads to a near perfect release.
The main downside to this DVD set is VIZ's steep price for a set with only a few episodes and no extras. Those interested in buying may want to look for this used or on clearance.
I can't recommend NANA enough for all fans of realistic anime.
