A teen's reveiw.Feb 21, 2008

I first discovered the Naruto series when it debuted on Cartoon Network for the first time. And since then I loved the show, though I have switched to watching it purely in Japanese. But enough of that, now for the review.
I wasn't sure about whether or not the game would be any good, considering that before now I had never played a Naruto game of any sort. I was slightly surprised, however, yet happy to learn that it was in fact a decent and fairly entertaining game. And it's not all about fighting - you can also go on mission, have a nice bowl of ramen with a friend, or just try to figure out what's under Kakashi's mask (heheh.)Also, as it states in the description it follows the story line of the first 80 episodes. And it does so well, with some minor alterations.
I have few grievances with this game, but enough to dock it one star. The biggest issue is how fast the game goes by. It seems that I went straight from beating Haku and Zabuza to being in the Chuunin exams. Another thing is that, if you haven't watched Naruto or read the manga you could become greatly confused. Various times in the game they make references to occurrences that didn't happen during the game. And the final problem I have with the game is only being allowed to work with 6 of the many characters available. Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke, Neji, Shikamaru and Rock Lee... Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed playing each character, I was just hoping to have more variety.
But anyway, I loved the game and would highly recommend it to any lover of the anime/manga Naruto. Trust me, you won't be able to put it down! =)

A Naruto fan's momFeb 01, 2009
By Flower Power She really likes this game. I can't say enough about keeping a kid busy in a car, on a long trip, with a Nintendo DS and this game... Keeps the "are we there yet?" questions way down. I had no idea what Naruto was until my kid began asking for the Naruto movies and games. This is one of her favorite games.
A very good timepass.Mar 24, 2011
By Tartar Sauce This game is not for gamers who want a challenge or anything of the sort. This is more of a light entertainment. The storyline follows the basic Naruto story and there are no major changes to it. Fighting is pretty good with many different jutsu to play. I am a little disappointed with the number of playable characters. Only Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Rock Lee, and Neji. However, it was a nice RPG all in all. Graphics were mediocre, if not below average. I loved using this game when I had nothing else to do. I recommend this to any Narutard out there!
