Yay! Back to the funny!Nov 05, 2009 I was pretty depressed at the overall tone of volume 12. There was a lot of introspection, and the club was split up in various places, so a lot of the humor that springs from the twins goading Tamaki, or Kyoya goading Tamaki, was missing. Luckily, things are back in a big way to being the funny host club I love. Kyoya is back from France, and Tamaki seems perfectly normal and back to his old self. There are a few precious panels with my faves Nekozawa and Kasanoda, but not enough...and then there is a little bit of love-introspection, but it's done in a funny way. Haruhi still seems like she's in the background here, but I don't care because it's well done. Mei comes back as a deus ex machina, but Ranka is not in the story at all. Oh well! Looking forward to #14!
