4early worm gets the bird... ;-)Jan 26, 2005

Just wanted to let folks know that it looks like Pokemon is enclosing a bonus DVD with this new release; in many cases, these bonuses disappear w/reissues, so, I'd suggest if this one is on your wish list, act quick. The bonus DVD contains the full first episode from the first box of Master Quest, which I own and have watched over half of (so far, I've enjoyed that set tremendously; Legendary Pokemon appearances abound!). If you haven't purchased Master Quest yet, it's a nice way to help you decide if it's something you'd want to invest in, as it is a 3 disc set and does cost accordingly. Also on the bonus disc is footage from the 2004 Pokemon championships. Two features about the event add up to about 5 minutes. Anyhow, back to the main disc, my main reason for purchasing it was to see the introduction of Minun and Plusle who will be in the upcoming feature, Destiny Deoxys. These little fellows are too cute and I really enjoyed their episode, "A Different Kind of Misty"; Team Rocket just gets funnier as the episodes wear on and I like how the addition of more "bad guys" (i.e., Team Aqua and Team Magma) adds to the drama. Ash proves himself a hero over and over again as he demonstrates the ideals of teamwork and enduring friendship. Pika! (BTW, volume 7 of this series also had the [same] bonus disc.)

4Jump For Joy!Nov 10, 2004
By J. Nickerson
The last five episodes of Season Six are on this disc. Let's see which episodes await...

The Spheal of Approval - Ash attends an ocean museum, but instead of a restful visit, he finds he must battle both Team Rocket and Team Magma.

Jump for Joy! - The gang has a mystery on their hands, when they find out Nurse Joy has apparently been kidnapped by a Shriftry!

A Different Kind of Misty - Team Rocket steals a mysterious stone from a lighthouse, which has to be recovered before a ship wrecks!

A Poké-Block Party - It's bad enough when a fun-house contest for a huge supply of Pokeblocks is hampered by a lunatic sponsor and the cheating Team Rocket, but when Jigglypuff reappears, all kinds of havoc breaks loose.

Watt's With Wattson - Ash meets up with Wattson and challenges him for this third badge, but it's a battle Pikachu wins easily... a bit TOO easily. What's behind Pikachu's sudden power-charge, and where does Wattson vanish off to after his defeat?

So Season Six comes to a close. Look for Pokemon: Advanced Challenge to come out later in 2005.
