R to L (Japanese Style). Not knowing it's the solution to her curse, Yako thinks that Rasetsu's quest for a boyfriend seems frivolous. Nothing's trivial about Rasetsu's next exorcism, however, especially when she's suddenly overpowered by the emotions of the spirit!

4Rasetsu Is Better The Second Time AroundAug 30, 2010
By J Astin
Rasetsu continues work at the exorcist agency in the second volume of the manga, facing a variety of ghosts, some that hit closer to home than she'd like. Rasetsu is forced to confront her fear of death when she faces the ghost of a child, and a possessed man reminds her of her own weaknesses and fears. A lighter job involves an exorcism at an amusement park, where the whole office comes along.

The character development is far more interesting in this volume, where we get to see Rasetsu facing some of her worst nightmares and surviving. We also get flashbacks to when Rasetsu was younger and fragile, when she first met Kuryu.

Through this, we get a better look at Kuryu, who is clearly hiding something darker than his love for Rasetsu. Also, Yako reveals a more protective side, even if he does not know how it affects Rasetsu, who is confused by her feelings.

As in the last volume, all is not serious. Rasetsu's love of cake and quest for a boyfriend brings laughs, as does the bickering between Kuryu and Yako.

If you liked the first volume, you will love this one. If the first volume of Rasetsu left you wanting, try this one. You may just get hooked.

5Came in good time and great conditionJan 11, 2010

Amazon is a great place to get manga books. Even with shipping you can usually get it for either the same price as the store or cheaper. Books form amazon usually comes with some kind of protection around the book whether it is cardboard or bubble wrap. I have never had any problem with any of the books I have bought through amazon and I know at a glance whether the books is available. If you are a manga fan like me, sometimes it is easier and simpler to order the book you want online.

Now if you want to know about the series, it is a supernatural story but not horror. I got into this series because I has read another series I think it is spelled Yura. To be brief, in that story line one of the main characters falls in love with a "guardian spirit". That character shows up in Rasetsu. It is not like it follows the first series which takes place in high school. The character that shows up in Rasetsu is older. Nor does the series focus on this one character but instead the main focus is on a girl named Rasetsu.
