Watsuki = GreatnessSep 06, 2011
By Celina Great read. Watsuki is awesome at story telling, & his artistic skills are immeasurable =]. I recommend this for anyone who loves a good historic read, mixed with action. Especially if it's in the form of a Rurouni trying to save lives instead of taking lives. Kenshin is such an exceptional character that anyone will learn to love. Volume 7 is full of action & romance & it is a must read for anyone who has followed Rurouni Kenshin or for someone trying to find something new to read. The storylines are thought out, & Kenshin's trials seem to be very real that you seem to become immersed into the character(s). Yahiko, Sano, & Kaoru are such detailed characters & following their lives as they get to know Kenshin & themselves, & discover their abilities adds a certain depth to Watsuki's writing. Start reading Rurouni Kenshin, & I bet money that you'll love it =]... Volume 7 deals with a lot of despair & a lot of sadness, I wasn't used to it considering it's very upbeat but this tone of writing in this particular volume set the stage for the following two & eventually the last volume of the series. You learn a lot of Kenshin & his hardships, more so than you might or might not already know. Give it a shot, it's a great read, certainly worth your money's worth.
