Description:

Yoh Asakura is a shaman—one of the gifted few who, thanks to training or natural talent, can channel spirits that most people can't even see. Yoh is in training for the ultimate shaman sports event: the "Shaman Fight in Tokyo," the once-every-500-years tournament to see who can shape humanity's future and become the Shaman King. But unfortunately for Yoh, every shaman in the world is competing for the same prize?

Epilogue:

We continue to look back to the past, when Yoh and Anna were bound together and Matamune sacrificed himself to save them. But in the present, Yoh seems to have sacrificed his chance to become Shaman King, and Ren still lies unconscious. Will Lady Jeanne keep her end of the bargain and save Ren's life?

5Perhaps the best volume of Shaman KingDec 31, 2010
By Holland F.
Yoh travels to northern Japan to meet his arranged marriage fiance Anna Kyoyami. Amazing storyline, art, and arc. Some of the other Shaman King titles around the upper volumes are heavy on the Shaman fight and not as interesting- this and the recommended volume 19 take a break to treat you with this wonderful origin story. For anyone who ever liked reading even one volume of Shaman King, even if you don't read any others, give this one a go. You will not be disappointed.
