4Valentine's DayJul 12, 2011
By Ellen W. "Ecclectic Student"
In this volume, Kyoko is being coerced by Reino to make him hate-filled chocolates for Valentine's Day. She also wants to make some for the people she owes gratitude to. But she excludes Ren, whom she thinks probably doesn't like sweets and gets too many chocolates from other women, anyway. Then, Sho gets wind of the fact that Kyoko is giving Reino chocolates and completely mistakes her intentions. Needless to say, he's not happy about the idea of Reino and Kyoko becoming a couple. What will he do about it?

Honestly, I prefer volumes that focus on Kyoko's acting or more heavily on her relationship with Ren, Sho, Moko, and others. Her relationship with Reino is... not as engaging. The story was still well-paced and funny, and things did happen. And I'm really glad Sho is back in the picture. I'm looking forward to next volume, when we get to see more of him.

I thought the book was well done, I mean if you like comedy mixed with kinda romance. Me I had to buy all the books because if you have one you have to read the next one.

I love this manga! it is the story of Kyoko who goes to Tokyo to support her childhood love who becomes a huge idol in showbiz. But she finds out that the only reason he took her to Tokyo in the first place was to take care of him so while she works three job to support him he is off having fun woking in showbiz. when she finds this out she vows revenge on him! and so she set out to become a bigger star then him! and if you want to know what happens then get the manga!! every volume is great i have yet to read one that I didn't love!Skip Beat!, Vol. 2
