Not bad, chapter book clears up confusing graphic novel for me.Dec 03, 2009
By Anna Bramfeld I have been an avid purchaser of naruto manga books for some students at the school where I teach. I have gradually developed the ability to read them, and now I rather enjoy them. I enjoy the art and the characters. I was quite pleased to read this chapter book summary of volume 1, because it explained plot points which I had failed to grasp in the graphic version. I don't know if my students have any similar difficulties or not. I know they watch this on TV, (which I never have) so maybe they already know the plots. Anyway, a nice companion to the graphic novel, but not a replacement certainly. I recommend this and the graphic books for kids; there's a little group of them out there who are very enthusiastic about Naruto.
